A couple of Wednesdays ago, I got the record mastered by Rick O’Neil at Turtlerock Mastering.

So now I can safely say that we are on track for a launch on the 18th of October. I have ‘Hibernian House‘ in Surry Hills booked as the venue. There is also a tour locked in – Plenty of big announcements still to come. Expect a blog post and facebook/website event in the next day or so.

 

Finally, for all of those that pre-ordered the digital version of Set in Stone via my SUCCESSFUL POZIBLE CAMPAIGN (THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU), expect a link in your email in the next few days. Other rewards will be gradually fulfilled in the next couple of weeks.

I’ve been very busy and very organised of late.

If you look to your right, you will notice some new dates up and locked in for gigs. Hoping that some of you reading this will consider coming along… even after all of the facebook and email flooding that will be received.

I have also uploaded some studio snaps taken with my iPhone to prove that I am actually recording an album and not lying about it… and uploaded more professional studio snaps (as in photography studio) which are completely attributed to the talents of Cindy at Live Photography. Seriously, she is amazing. Go to her website and check out her stuff. Now.

I also decided that I will be uploading 2 youtube videos a week. There have been 2 put up since my last post… I missed out on my 2 last week cause I had some freak flu and it is now Wednesday and I’ve got another full day in the studio. Lots of work to do still!

What a massive break between posts! 2012 was a massive year and 2013 is going to be even bigger.

Over the past few months, I’ve been busy recording an album with help from the wonderfully talented and polite Pat O’Grady on Engineering/Production. Here is Pat’s website: https://www.pogmusic.com/

We have a solid 11 tracks making the cut so far with half already having drums and bass recorded. The remaining rhythm foundations will be recorded next Tuesday. Expect this album around the middle of the year… maybe earlier? Depends how productive I am.

Also! I’ve been booking in some new gigs. So far, I have one at the Union Locked in, some more Rozelle Markets, some Sappho Bookstore gigs on the way, some at the Marrickville Newsagency, and perhaps a tour! Keep an eye on that Gigpress bar to the right.. I’ll also make facebook events for the important ones.
