Next Wednesday, I’m returning to Newtown to play a gig at The Midnight Special, sharing a bill with the Marvellous Hearts. (Thank you Mother Hen Touring!)

Thanks to Bill Donohoe for the following snaps, taken during my last show at the Midnight Special in 2021.

Recorded by Jolyon Gray in April 2021

As some of you know, originals gigs are pretty rare for me these days. This is also a rescheduled date, after I came down with COVID back in February. Hope you can make it!

@ The Midnight Special

Hey Friends,

At my Hive Bar gig on Tuesday night, I was approached by some friendly audience members who help run Beejay’s Cafe and Wine Bar in Marrickville on Illawarra Rd.

Beejay's Cafe and Wine Bar

After some short conversation, they asked me if I’d be interested in starting a residency in Beejay’s for every Thursday @ 7pm. I said yes. How exciting is this?! Regular gigs at two wonderful inner-west bars. I couldn’t be happier.

I’ll keep you posted and try to record some videos for my Youtube channel at some of these gigs. There are also already events made for the next 4 gigs in my gigs list to the right of this page. Click on that for more information.

Also, just incase you forgot… PLEDGE TO MY DEBUT ALBUM?!?

-Speak soon.

Greetings,
Now that I’m at the 50% mark of my Pozible Campaign, it’s time for another big update.

Here’s a video:

If you decided against the video, allow me to fill you in…

New Tracks

I’ve just put out another 2 songs from the album. This makes a total of 4 songs now available for your listening pleasure. There is currently a whole new EP’s worth of music to listen to months before an official album release!

About the tracks:

Bill’s Lost Love – A dreamy, folk song with lush instrumentation and a driving narrative. This one is getting animated into a music video

Dead Man Walking – A raw, Americana style song set in the mind of a man on death row.

Freeride Train Blues – A slow-driving acoustic blues featuring banjo, upright bass and dobro.

Set in Stone (feat. Alison Avron) – A duet about new love, featuring the wonderful talents of Alison Avron. And also violin, cello, piano. Here’s a link to Alison Avron’s website.

New Pozible Reward

Against my better judgement, I’ve decided to add a reward to this campaign which has the potential to end me. For $40, I’m giving people the opportunity to request any song they like. Anything. I will then learn that song, record it for youtube, and dedicate it to you at the beginning of the video. As I said, I’m willing to learn any song. This is a golden opportunity at an extremely fair price. Go to the page and scroll down the right column until you see the reward. OK GO.

 A Name for the Album

I’ve officially decided on a name for my debut album. It’s called… drum roll……. ‘Set in Stone‘. Named after one of the tracks that I’ve put out today, I chose it because the title simply fit. This album was always going to be called ‘Set  in Stone’, I just didn’t know it yet.

::::TLDR::::

** New Music! There are now officially 4 songs up and listenable for this album.
** New $40 reward where you can request ANY song and I’ll learn it, record it, dedicate to you on Youtube.
** The album is now called ‘Set in Stone’.

Finally, Thank You to everyone that has supported this project so far! If you haven’t yet and intend on doing so, don’t delay! …And tell your friends! With your support, we can reach this goal.

Help me reach my Pozible Campaign target and pledge!
