Erskineville Hive Bar Residency

If anyone was wondering how things are going with my Hive Bar Residency, it’s been going awesome. In fact, I’ve turned many of the nights into a bit of a jam by encouraging friends to bring along their instruments. I’ve even collaborated on a couple of the weeks with the guy doing every other Tuesday – Marc O’Connor. Many, many good times had.

On the topic of Marc O’Connor, he’s gone back to Ireland for a month or so, which means that I’ll be taking over his Tuesdays and doing it as a weekly thing for the next month or so.

If you’re in the area, come along. I kick the music off at 7pm. For more in-depth information, check out the post prior to this one.

Back to the Pozible Campaign.

Again to my crowd-funding campaign.. If you enjoy some of the DIYs that I post on here or even the music that I create. Please consider pledging to my album. I’ve also got some fantastic rewards up there.

Until next time,

Hey Everyone,

As of next Tuesday the 6/5/14, I’ll be commencing a fortnightly residency over at The Hive Bar in Erskineville. This’ll have me playing a heap of my original stuff, both old and new, and a tasteful assortment of covers from folk, blues, country and traditional styles.

The Hive Bar has a fantastic assortment of tasty beers on tap and cheap pizzas every Tuesday (the night that I’m there!).
If you live in/near the area, please stop on by. And if you can, share this event with anyone who might be interested.

There are also a bunch of extra shows that I’ve listed up in the column to the right and the Gigs page. Check it out if you’re interested.

Speak soon.

Hey strangers!

It has been quite a while in between posts. For this, I am deeply sorry…

On the plus side, heaps of stuff has been going on.

Website maintenance

We’ve finally rewritten my bio and put it up on the About page. No more ‘Needs Updating’. 😀

Gigs

Over the past few weeks, Emma (manager) and I have been hard at working booking gigs near and far. Of those confirmed you can look right to the sidebar. There you will see a a gig at Hive Bar on the 28th from 7:30pm (this Thursday) and the 1st (Sunday) from 4pm, a gig at the Excelsior in Glebe this Saturday night 30th playing with Mirrors in Iceland, and a show at the UNSW Roundhouse in August. We’ve also been booking up into the festival scene. I’ll let you know how it goes. More gigs are still to be confirmed so I’ll keep you posted. (get it?)

Everyday life

I finished my prac at a highschool on friday, so now I’m busy practicing, writing, teaching and reading. Things are looking up. I love being busy, but on my own accord. 😉
