It’s been a hell of a year for what folks these days might call ‘Americana’ music and it’s been a hell of a year for this lineup of acts who play what they might refer to as, country music.

All four acts have made significant recordings this year. In the case of The Heggarties, Matt J Ward and Hana Brenecki, they’re all US bound to promote their albums and play shows. Meanwhile Sam Newton has been nominated as a finalist for best roots album in the inaugural Australian Roots Music Awards and is one of the Sydney Americana scene’s shining lights.

This is one of the best alt country music lineups you’re likely to see in Adelaide and it goes without saying that the place’ll be jam packed and rockin’ hard!
