Hey everyone,

We’re having a great time on the road bringing my music to new and exciting places around NSW.

Here’s a short update as part of my planned Tour Blog:

So far, some of the shows have been fantastic (Byron and Newcastle), and others not so much (Tamworth). We all played to our first empty room with our gig in Tamworth last Friday night. But I’m not giving up on Tamworth. Next time I return there, the room will be packed – that’s a promise.

However, we did do a bunch of really fun radio appearances during the day on Friday. Among these, was a chance to cover a top40 song live on air. Here’s our version of Paloma Faith’s ‘Only Love Can Hurt Like This’:

Somewhere past the town of Glen Inis, we also decided upon an impromptu roadside performance after being held up for 45mins by a road-bicycle race.

Stuck on the side of the road somewhere between Tamworth and Byron.

Tonight, we’re back on the road for another run of 5 dates with 2 gigs in Newcastle kicking them off. Tonight, we’re at the Lass O’Gowrie in Wickham playing alongside the Vanishing Shapes and Hudson Arc. The night is running from 9-12 and we’re playing at 10pm.

To celebrate the release of my upcoming debut album, ‘Set in Stone’, I’ll be taking my band out on tour in late October through November. We’ll be kicking off this tour with an album launch gig over at the Hibernian House in Surry Hills on the 18th of October. Joining me will be the very talented Chris Gillespie.
